Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting at a church in Alabama. Law enforcement officials responded to St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Vestavia Hills on Thursday evening. Vestavia Hills police said three people were shot and the suspect is in custody. One victim died from their injuries. The other victims were taken to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time. The suspect is in custody.According to the church’s website, there was a “Boomers Potluck” planned for 5 p.m. in Parish Hall today.No other details have been released. Vestavia Hills police confirmed three people were shot. One person died and two others are being treated. The suspect is in custody.
