One-hundred twelve years ago, the Titanic struck an iceberg four days into the ship’s maiden voyage — and more than 1,500 people lost their lives.The anniversary of the Titanic sinking is a remembrance of those people who perished with the sinking ship.The ship hit the iceberg around midnight on its journey from Southampton, England, to New York City.Not only was the Titanic the most luxurious ship in the world at that time, but it was also one of the most technologically advanced.
