Heavy rains fell over Roswell, New Mexico, on Sunday, leaving one bridge collapsed and at least a dozen homes underwater as flood water rose. According to sister station KOAT 7, some areas saw 1 to 3 inches of rainfall in a short amount of time. That prompted the National Weather Service to issue a flash flood warning for a time. The National Weather Service reported one small bridge collapsed due to flood waters. The NWS also reported at least 12 homes were flooded.
