Adult Swim has officially renewed its latest anime, Ninja Kamui, for a second season. Although details are scarce on Ninja Kamui season 2, the popularity of the series has warranted another installment as the platform hopes to increase its presence in the anime industry.
As revealed in a report by Buisness Wire, Sola Entertainment is already hard at work on season 2 of Ninja Kamui. Directed by Sunghoo Park, the director of Jujutsu Kaisen season 1, and spearheaded by Adult Swim, this new series was an instant hit. From the incredible choreography, the appealing ninja plot to the bloody nature of the fights, Ninja Kamui was revealed by Adult Swim to be its most popular anime on the platform.
Although the announcement was for a game titled Ninja Kamui: Shinobi Origins, Rainmaker Productions and Sola Entertainment revealed that a second season of Ninja Kamui was in production.
