Belhaven resident went for a walk and disappeared, his wife says

Dau Mabil last seen Monday

Police are searching for a man who disappeared while on a walk in Belhaven earlier this week.Dau Mabil, left his home in Belhaven Heights at around noon Monday and hasn’t been seen since. His wife, Karissa Bowley, said Mabil sent her a text message saying he was going on a walk and left his phone at their house. Which was something she said wasn’t unusual, but she expected to hear from him by mid-afternoon Monday.”At that point, he would have called me from a friend. He would have made it to visit a friend at their work or would have made it to a friend’s house in the neighborhood and he would have given me a call at that point,” Bowley said. “If anybody on their Ring camera has him walking after noon time (Monday), that would he helpful, just pinpointing where he is.”Mabil was last seen wearing blue Adidas joggers, an orange shirt and a yellow hoodie around his waist. If you’ve seen him, call Capitol police at 601-359-3125.
