Beyoncé is playing some of her final shows on the Renaissance World Tour and has reached her Houston hometown for two nights at NRG Stadium. For the Saturday night concert, the pop superstar brought out a fellow Houstonian, Megan Thee Stallion, for the live debut of their Grammy-winning single, “Savage Remix.” Check out footage of the performance below.

Beyoncé began her tour in support of Renaissance with a blowout show in Stockholm in May. She played “Savage Remix” at the Sweden concert, and it has been a staple on the tour. Beyoncé’s guests on the tour have included Kendrick Lamar, Diana Ross, and her daughter, Blue Ivy. For now, the trek is scheduled to conclude on Sunday, October 1, in Kansas City.

Megan Thee Stallion released the original “Savage” on Suga in March 2020. The next month, she and Beyoncé released their remix. The remix earned Beyoncé and Megan Thee Stallion nominations for Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, and Record of the Year, at the 2021 Grammy Awards. The musicians won the first two awards and got a nod from the Record of the Year winner, Billie Eilish, who said that Megan Thee Stallion should’ve been given the honor and had the the crowd applaud the Houston rapper.

Megan Thee Stallion recently released “Bongos” with Cardi B, performed the song at the MTV Video Music Awards, and popped up in a teaser for the new season of Netflix’s Big Mouth. She had been due to perform at the Global Citizen Festival in New York’s Central Park on Saturday, September 23, but pulled out of the event due to what organizers called “an unforeseen scheduling conflict.”
