Mediaite Contributor James Duke Mason – Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO) told Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo on Tuesday that he believes President Joe Biden will indeed be “jacked” up on something for Thursday’s debate with Donald Trump – namely Mountain Dew. Burlison made the comment after citing how elderly dementia patients can still have moments of “clarity” – in reference to Biden.
“Ronny Jackson says Biden will be will have been at Camp David for a full week before the debate, and that they’re probably experimenting, with with getting doses right and giving him medicine ahead of the debate. Is that what you think?” Bartiromo asked, referring to the GOP congressman from Texas.
“Yeah. I think that, you know, any any patient that truly or, you know, elderly individual or someone that has dementia, they can find some moments of clarity, right? They can find moments throughout the day that they have energy,” Burlison replied, seeming somewhat unsure of himself.
“And I that I think that we should, Trump’s team should not underestimate Joe Biden and his team’s ability to, you know, whether they’re going to, jack him up on Mountain Dew or whatever it is that it took, the state of the Union this year, he had a lot of energy for about an hour – an hour or an hour and a half,” concluded the Republican congressman.
