A former Ecuadorian beauty queen, linked to one of Ecuador’s largest drug investigations, has been brutally gunned down in a restaurant in broad daylight.
23-year-old Landy Parraga was a former Miss Ecuador contestant, representing Los Rios Province in 2022. She had over a million followers across her social media accounts, on which she would share snippets of her luxurious lifestyle.
CCTV shows Parraga speaking to her boyfriend at a restaurant table in Quevedo. She seems to notice the gunmen sneaking in and turns away’, before one of the shooters approaches her and fires several rounds, hitting her and her partner. The attackers then flee the scene.
