At least 25 people were killed and dozens of others were injured in Mississippi as a massive tornado ripped through several towns on its hour-long path.Gov. Tate Reeves is holding a news briefing Sunday in Rolling Fork, where more than a dozen people were killed during the storm, which decimated the small town. Search and rescue efforts are ongoing. The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency said fatalities have been reported in Sharkey, Humphreys, Carroll and Monroe counties. Multiple state agencies and partners are working together to help in the response and recovery efforts, MEMA said. Bottled water, potable water tankers, tarps, portable restrooms and hand washing stations, are among the resources that have been brought in to help residents and responders. President Joe Biden issued an emergency declaration for Mississippi early Sunday, making federal funding available to affected areas.
