A treasure trove of rattan accent chairs, striped throw pillows and hand-knotted rugs, Serena & Lily epitomizes the eternally popular coastal design trend. Headquartered in Sausalito, the furniture retailer offers custom furniture, lighting and décor — designed to evoke the breezy California beach.

Walking through an airy Serena & Lily store, or clicking through their website, you’ll find everything from handcrafted rattan coffee tables to natural wood sconces to pagoda-style patio umbrellas. You also uncover lightweight linen bedding, hand-knotted rugs and handspun raw silk pillows — all with that coastal casual flare.

Ready to transform your home into a modern beach house? Us too. There’s only one thing standing between us and a home packed with Serena & Lily: The eclectic, often homemade pieces can come with a high price tag. The good news is there are plenty of Serena & Lily dupes out there that draw inspiration from the brand’s signature coastal style while skipping its high prices.

To help you decorate your home in beach-chic coastal décor for less, our editors are bringing you our favorite Serena & Lily look-alike chairs, rugs, bar stools, décor and more.

1. Serena & Lily Rug Dupe

Birchwood Moroccan Farmhouse Rug

Versatile, thick and luxurious, the Mirabelle Rug from Serena & Lily is a fan favorite for a reason. The Batik-inspired statement rug is made from New Zealand wool completely by hand, so no two rugs are alike.

If the rug sounds expensive, it is — we’re talking multiple thousands of dollars expensive. But if the original Serena & Lily model is not in your budget, this Birchwood Moroccan Farmhouse rug from Amazon is a worthy affordable alternative. Like the original, the Serena & Lily rug dupe features a bold, eye-catching pattern that is easy to layer.

Price: $579 for the 8- by 12-foot rug at Amazon.com

2. Serena & Lily Wallpaper Dupe

Serena & Lily has some truly stunning wallpaper options — like this modern take on classical island palm wallpaper. But at around $4.40 per square foot, it’s not exactly cheap, especially if you are wallpapering a larger space.

That’s why we like the Chittening Peel & Stick Wallpaper from Wayfair. The smooth, self-adhesive paper features a similar design at a fraction of the price. And bonus: unlike the original, the Wayfair Serena & Lily wallpaper dupe is self-adhesive for uber-simple application and removal.

Price: $1.85 per square foot at Wayfair.com

3. Serena & Lily Chair Dupes

Safavieh Couture Home Collection Dining Chair

Made from handwoven seagrass, the Islesboro Chair looks plucked straight out of your hip grandmother’s house. But if you’re looking for an option that is just as breezy and sophisticated, the Safavieh Couture Home Collection dining chair is a more wallet-friendly bet.

As far as Serena & Lily Chair dupes go, this one is spot on. It’s woven from rattan and water hyacinth and is at once sturdy and chic.

Price: $387.65 at Amazon.com

4. Serena & Lilly Bedding Dupe

OSVINO Hotel Duvet Cover

The OSVINO Hotel Duvet Cover is a dead ringer for Serena & Lily’s Beach Club Border Duvet Cover. But while the original costs north of $300, the Serena & Lily Amazon dupe clocks in under $50.

And, for all its savings, the Serena & Lily Amazon dupe doesn’t skimp on quality: the OSVINO duvet cover is O-TEX certified and made from soft, lightweight microfiber.

Price: $45.99 for a king size at Amazon.com

5. Serena & Lily Bar Stool Dupe

Zelienople Patio Bar Stools

The coveted Serena & Lily Rivera rattan bar stools draw inspiration from the classic French bistro chair. They’re crafted from Manau, a premium-grade, sustainably sourced rattan vine, and feature hand-woven resin seats. They are in a word, divine but they are also in a second word, pricey.

This set of Zeilienople stools from Wayfair is just as lovely but nowhere near as expensive. Each stool is a worthy Serena & Lily bar stool dupe, made from polyethylene rattan and bamboo-finished aluminum frames, blending sophistication with durability.

Price: $599.99 for a set of four at Wayfair.com

6. Serena & Lily Console Dupe

Palmdale Knockdown Woven Drawer Console

Bloggers have long sung the praises of Target Serena & Lily dupes. The beloved chain does an excellent job emulating the modern California coastal style at wallet-friendly prices.

Case in point: This Palmdale Knockdown Woven Drawer Console is a top-notch alternative to the Serena & Lily Caledonia Woven Console. It features a beige wooden frame and woven details, like the original, and is only slightly smaller at 30 inches high and 55 inches wide (compared to the original’s 34 inches and 68 inches).

Price: $350 at Target.com

7. Serena & Lily Lamp Dupe

Medium Faux Wood Table Lamp Brown

Speaking of impeccably stylish Serena & Lily Target dupes, let us turn your attention to this faux-wood lamp. All but identical to the Serena & Lily Beachside Table Lamp, the Target lamp features a beige globular and white conical fabric shade and gives off a distinctly Cape Code summer house vibe.

The Target Serena & Lily dupe includes a dimmable bulb so you can control the level of brightness. Notably, it’s a slightly smaller option, standing at 16 inches compared to the original’s 21 inches.

Price: $40 at Target.com

8. Serena & Lily Headboard Dupe

Full disclosure: We just barely reached the point where we’re adult enough to buy a headboard, let alone spend nearly $2K on one. So as amazing as the Serena & Lily Harbour Cane Headboard is, our vote is for the Tahoe Solid Wood Headboard by Joss & Main.

The Joss & Main version is made from mango wood with three rattan panels, and like the Serena & Lily original, has a modern neutral look that is easy to pair with virtually anything.

Price: $308 at Wayfair.com

9. Serena & Lily Coffee Table Dupe

Lianne Rattan Round Coffee Table

Even if we had unlimited expendable income, spending $2,000 on a rattan coffee table feels a bit much, even for one as nice as Serena & Lily’s Cape Coffee Table. Clocking in under $500, the Lianne Rattan Round Coffee Table is more our speed. At  32 by 32 by 18 inches, it’s slightly smaller than the Serena & Lily version, but it features a similar woven natural rattan base and glass top.

Price: $489 at AmericanHomeFurniture.com

10. Serena & Lily Hanging Rattan Chair Dupe

Richards Outdoor/Indoor Wicker Hanging Chair

Aside from sandy bathing suits hanging in the shower, nothing says beach house like a hanging rattan chair. Serena & Lily calls their version a “natural crowd-pleaser” and recommends hanging it in your living room or library to add a “bit of fun.”

Target’s take on the hanging rattan chair mirrors the Serena & Lily interpretation, with the same curved frame and scooped seat. It’s faux rattan (as opposed to the original’s genuine rattan), but it includes a pillow (the original does not) and is almost $300 cheaper. The Serena & Lily Target dupe includes a chain (the original has a rope), but neither version comes with a stand or mounting hardware.

Note: The lighter rattan color is sold out at Target, but is available on Amazon for $299.

Price: $234.99 at Target.com

11. Serena & Lily Mirror Dupe

Kouboo Checkered Round Rope Wall Mirror

We’ll leave you with another on-the-money Serena & Lily Amazon dupe: the Kouboo Nautical Decorative Wall Mirror in Rattan. Much like Serena & Lily’s Montara Rattan Mirror, the Amazon mirror is handcrafted from natural rattan and measures 30 inches in diameter and would not look out of place in a pool house in your favorite Aunt’s home in the Hamptons.

Price: $195 at Amazon.com
