The first promotional image for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 has been unveiled, teasing Shadow’s battle with Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles in the upcoming video game movie sequel. The new movie will feature Shadow’s introduction to the live-action movie universe, becoming the next major threat Sonic and his friends will have to face. Sonic the Hedgehog 3‘s upcoming release won’t be until the end of the year, but the logo and key casting choices have already been revealed.
Now, In Pursuit of Toys has posted the first promo image of Sonic the Hedgehog 3, teasing what’s to come when Shadow battles Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles.
The image, which comes from the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada, shows Shadow’s full face with his eyes open for the very first time. His eyes also spark with orange Chaos Energy, indicating just how powerful he’s going to be once he’s unleashed onscreen.
