A man is facing charges after police in Ocala, Florida, said he crashed into a dentist’s office while he was drunk.The Ocala Police Department said officers were called to Healthy Smiles Dentistry just after midnight on Monday after receiving a call that an SUV had crashed into the building. Police also state the same SUV collided with another vehicle before striking the building, but no one was injured.Officers said a nearby witness described the driver’s appearance, and police said they could see the driver — identified as Gabriel Hausy — not far from the crash. That’s when officers said Hausy ran from police.After detaining Hausy, police said they learned Hausy was drinking about an hour and a half before the crash.Per police, a subsequent breathalyzer test found that Hausy had a blood alcohol content of 0.14, which is almost twice the legal limit.Hausy was then arrested for DUI with property damage, resisting an officer without violence, and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage.Hausy remained in custody in the Marion County Jail with a bond set at $2,500.
