XVII the Protégé
Born in Gulfport Ms., he choose to not settle
and pursue bigger and better things! As the
Protégé of the Great Chad “Pimp C” Butler, his
story has to be told. Being influenced by the
likeness of Malcolm X, 2 Pac, Pimp C and
President Barac, his music reflects all aspects
of each of their characters.
Having worked with greats such as Scarface,
Too Short, Boosie, David Banner, Juvi, Convict
Music and more, he has put in the work and is
ready to reap the benefits of keeping it

Since 96 his works consist of the 1st with a
group called KG’z, 1st solo project “Die By
Dis”, then the UnderGround Heat Vol. 1, then
UnderGround Heat Vol. 2. After that came
Pimp C presents Certified, Tha Reason,
Against Tha Grain, Young Hogg
