Yeah, well I hope it’s going to be effective of course when you see the sign, it’s jarring that we even have to have *** sign that says no guns in new york. Um I hope that it works because it’s really scary to think that people would just have handheld guns out and about and I just, I’m not for that at all, so I’m hoping those signs work. Please, no guns in new york, we don’t need any more. I think it’s ridiculous you’re allowed concealed weapons at all. I’m an Australian, we don’t have them in Australia, we don’t have shootings all we hear about in Australia or the shooting you guys have, so less guns are better as far as I’m concerned, I don’t know if they will be as effective as they hope to be, but I definitely do not think that we should be carrying weapons around new york, as someone who grew up here definitely makes one *** little bit scarier. You have the subway enough to worry about. Yeah, so, so uh this me reiterating, um I think that, I think having *** gun free zone is ideal. Um you know, I feel like there’s people without guns, you know, that we didn’t even get to explore, explore that option yet. I feel like people are giving up their rights. Um I feel like this sign is gonna scare people from maybe having guns if it’s going to stop completely. No, I don’t think it’s gonna stop um anyone from possessing *** gun illegal gun, illegal tender, anything like that, uh illegal substances. Um Yeah, so I think this is like *** step *** step in that that that motion, but, you know, we could be giving away our our God given rights to bear arms, you know? Yeah, God give him, Well, I don’t have *** gun, so I’m not going to be affected, but I think it’s not correct as we have criminals who don’t abide by the law and they carry guns. And then the taxpayer citizens who who have *** lot of rights yet don’t have rights to protect themselves. I don’t think it’s right. I think it’s *** good idea. Anything that helped to keep the crime down, Times Square is *** busy area in Manhattan. So anything to help? I’m all for, I think it’s *** start into making it safe. Yes, I think that should, that law should have never been passed to begin with, but, you know, one step at *** time, you know, so

A good Samaritan, who was at the right place at the right time, and a team of New York City officers who rushed on scene rescued a man who fell on the subway tracks just seconds before an incoming train arrived, police said.Two officers from the NYPD’s 25th Precinct were in the middle of a platform inspection Thursday evening on the 6 line at the East 116 Street and Lexington Avenue subway station when commuters informed them a man had fallen on the train tracks of another platform, the department told CNN in a statement.Bodycam video posted by New York Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell shows the officers rushing to the man’s aid. The clip shows another person already at the man’s side on the tracks when officers arrive. With the good Samaritan’s help, the officers were able to move the man from the tracks and onto the platform, the NYPD said.The bodycam video shows the rescue — and the oncoming train that arrived just moments after the man was removed from the tracks.A third officer who arrived “was able to use his prior medical training to render aid to the aided male while awaiting the response of medical personnel,” the NYPD said.EMS responded and took the man to a local hospital in stable condition, with minor injuries to his hand and back, police said.
