Grace Ives has announced a North American tour. The New York pop songwriter has also shared a new music video for her Janky Star song “On the Ground.” It’s directed by Sara Magenheimer and finds Ives singing the song directly into a camera while colorful flowers and words flash across the screen. Ives’ upcoming shows will mark her first-ever headlining tour. She will perform in Brooklyn tomorrow night (Thursday) before heading out on the road for her tour this fall. The trek kicks off in Brooklyn on September 8 and will see Ives stop in major cities such as Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle, and more before concluding in Portland, Oregon on September 25.
