Want to buy a home in Alabama? Maybe Retire in Alabama?
Do you like warm summers, sweet tea, and Crimson Tide football? If so, it is time to sell your home and move to Alabama.
Alabama is a great state to relocate to especially if you are retired. The cost of living is one of the lowest in the country and has very affordable real estate. More and more people are looking at moving to Alabama. They have a lot of great places to live. In my opinion, most of the great places to live in Alabama are the suburbs. But, they do have some great small towns.
What we are looking for in this series is that sweet spot. Small rural towns that are decent places to live that aren’t too close to any major cities, easy on the crime rate, not 5 hours away from a hospital or so far out they have horrible internet. Those things knocked a lot of nice rural towns off this list. Crime and the Internet seem to be what knocked most of them off the list.
