A weakening boundary will bring the chance for a few showers and a stray storm between 4 a.m. and 9 a.m. The day itself will be dry, hot and humid. Highs will return to the upper 80s and low 90s with feels like conditions back in the mid to upper 90s. Rain and storms will pick up after dark Thursday and last through around midnight to around 2 a.m. Friday. While a severe threat remains limited at this time, heavy rain, gusty winds, booming thunder, frequent lightning and isolated hail is possible. The cooler and lower humidity air finally arrives Friday. Temperatures Friday and the weekend will fall to the 50s and low 60s in the morning with highs in the mid 70s to low 80s. Clouds will be more abundant Sunday for Mother’s Day. Early next week, temperatures will be back in the 60s in the morning with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. On and off rain chances as well as a storm will be possible Monday through Wednesday.
