The last mission of Cyberpunk 2077‘s Phantom Liberty DLC can look different depending on your choices, with one option letting you get powerful gear like the Blackwall Quickhack and Erebus weapon blueprints. Strong Cyberware and guns are the best tools in Night City, making these designs very valuable. You will have to commit to a specific decision to obtain these items as you conclude the DLC’s story.

[Warning: The following article contains spoilers for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty DLC.]Both blueprints are only found in the “Somewhat Damaged” mission that leads to one of two endings of Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty. The only way to reach this is to hand over Songbird to Solomon Reed during the “Firestarter” quest. Choosing to help Songbird over Reed will lock you into a different conclusion, preventing you from getting either Cyberware or weapon blueprint later.

10 Best New Cyberware To Unlock In Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberware has received a major overhaul in Cyberpunk 2077’s Update 2.0. Here are some of the best new and reworked Cyberware implants V should use.

How To Find The Erebus Weapon Blueprint in Cyberpunk 2077

Invading the Cynosure Facility

The “Somewhat Damaged” mission in Cyberpunk 2077 has you attempt to capture Songbird from a MaxTac facility, which holds both the blueprints for the Erebus weapon and Blackwall Quickhack. This building can be extremely dangerous, filled with MaxTac guards, hostile tech, and a massive robot called Cerberus that will hunt you down as you explore. One of the first tasks here is to hack into four terminals to gain access to the base.

You will want to enter the Cynosure Facility well-prepared as if Cerberus does manage to find you, there is no escape, and it is considered an instant death. You will then have to start over, and this is the only way to find either of the two items. For this reason, you will want to be rather quiet as you move throughout the facility, and you should keep an eye out for Cerberus at all times.

Once V takes control of the Sierra, Alpha, Victor, and Bravo terminals, connect the main power supply to storage through a power station found in the facility’s dining room. Just past the dining room, a nearby maintenance space in Cyberpunk 2077 should only open when you reroute the power. Inside this area, you’ll find the Erebus weapon blueprint lying on a table to pick up and use later.

To reroute the power station’s energy back to the storage space, your character must have a high
Technical Ability
of 20
or more.

Translating the blueprints gives you the Erebus, a potent Power Submachine Gunwith +100% headshot damageand +25% armor penetration modifiers. One of the best Perks in Cyberpunk 2077‘s Phantom Liberty DLC comes from this gun, infusing the weapon with dark Blackwall energy to deal lethal damage to enemies with lower health.

How To Find the Blackwall Quickhack Blueprint in Cyberpunk 2077

Special Passcodes Or High Technical Ability

Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty DLC Blackwall Quickhack Blueprint in Experimental Prototype Room of Cynosure Facility

The Blackwall Quickhack can be found close to the Erebus blueprint in the Experimental Prototyping room, the next area from the dining hall. This space can only be unlocked using a special passcode or hacking with a 15 or higher Technical Ability attribute in Cyberpunk 2077. The blueprint for the Cyberware is immediately inside a suitcase on top of one of the tables glowing yellow.

Labeled as the Militech Canto Mk.6 Cyberware, this Quickhack is an Operating System equipment that takes up four quickhack slots to add. The Blackwall Gateway Quickhack from this tech costs 12 RAM and causes lethal damage to Cyberware and neural systems within a 20-meter radius. Consuming RAM as it spreads, this effect disables mechs, drones, turrets, and up to five enemies within its range in Cyberpunk 2077.

Crafting The Blackwall Erebus Or Quickhack

Using The Corrosion For Good Or Ill

After the “Somewhat Damaged” Quest concludes, you will return to your apartment and go to bed. When you wake, you will eventually be sent a message to start a new mission titled “The Corrosion” that will send you back to the Edgenet shop in Kabuki Market. Yoko will then decrypt the component and give you the Behavioral Circuit that can be used as a crafting component for either the Blackwall Erebus or to create the Blackhall Gateway Quickhack.

Of note, you only receive one component, so you will have to choose between the two to choose which one you want to use more. However, there are ways players have found to duplicate items with various glitches, including this recent version of the duplication glitch by YouTuber Mightysword Gaming. Notably, these glitches have been discovered and patched throughout the game’s lifespan, so this method may not be guaranteed, but this is the latest version as of May 2024.

If you are not using duplication glitches and are willing to use console commands (or cheat codes) in Cyberpunk 2077, there is another way for PC players. You will have to download software and add it to your game files, such as the CyberEngineTweaks file. But once you have, simply press the ~ key to open the console commands. There is a code both for the Erebus and the Quickhack.

  • Erebus: Game.AddToInventory(“Items.Preset_Borg4a_HauntedGun”,1)
  • Militech Canto MK.6 :Game.AddToInventory(“Items.HauntedCyberdeck_Legendary”,1)

This will give you either item if you are on PC. For those on a console, however, you will have tochoose between the two. Both of them will hack enemies, and you can defeat them quickly either way. It mostly depends on your playstyle, as the Quickhack will supplement a more stealthy approach, and the Erebus will suit a more aggressive approach.

Both have advantages and disadvantages as the Corrosion also attempts to consume you. For instance, the RAM cost of the Blackwall Quickhack will exponentially increase, and the Erebus will spread the Corruption. Both items will spread the infection to you, which has little consequences except for the Blackwall talking to V and making subtle threats toward them and the rest of humankind.

Corrupter or not, anyone who gets the Erebus weapon or Blackwall Quickhack in Cyberpunk 2077‘s Phantom Liberty DLC has incredibly strong options for nearly any challenge in Night City since both tools tackle many different situations. While you may not have many missions left in the game at this point, it will be quite helpful depending on which path you take through the endgame.
