In Disney Dreamlight Valley, when you are completing Merlin’s quest “With Great Power,” you will need to go to a mysterious cave that is blocked off by three Magic Gates, out of which the second one can be slightly challenging to open. Opening the first gate is quite straightforward as it requires you to collect some resources. However, the second gate will involve solving a riddle.
The riddle refers to finding some key ingredients that are mentioned in the riddle, and identifying them can be slightly confusing. To keep things simple, you will need to look for vegetables the riddle is referring to. Then, you must grow them simultaneously on the mound in front of the gate so that it opens up the second gate.

Solve The Riddles
The first riddle mentions a crop with the phrase “one is underground.” This refers to a vegetable that usually grows underground. But the correct vegetable you are looking for is the Carrot.
Carrot Seeds can be purchased from Goofy’s stall in the Plaza or Peaceful Meadow, the game’s starting areas.
The second riddle refers to a vegetable that is “gold and brown.” The crop you want is Wheat, another Seed type that can also be bought from Goofy’s stall.
Finally, the phrase “red and round” in the riddle is talking about the Tomato. Tomato Seeds can be acquired from the stall on Dazzle Beach, which becomes accessible once you complete one of Merlin’s quests in Disney Dreamlight Valley, “Friendship is Everything.” After collecting all the seeds, return to the second Magic Gate. Plant the seeds into the mounds of dirt in front of the three statues, water them, and wait for each to grow.
Wheat can take up to 25 minutes to grow completely, and all three plants must be fully matured at the same time to remove the second Magic Gate in
Dreamlight Valley.

How To Open The Third Magic Gate
Make a Meal With The Ingredients
Once every crop is fully matured, the Gate’s spell will disappear, allowing you to continue further into the Mystical Cave. To solve the third Magic Gate, you must use the three crops you grew during the previous puzzle to cook and eat a meal.
Combining Wheat, Tomato, and Carrots creates the dish “Veggie Pasta.” Reaching the bottom of the cave rewards you with an Orb of Power, which must be obtained to free Ursula in Disney Dreamlight Valley and remove the curse from Dazzle Beach.
While the solution to the second Magic Gate in Dreamlight Valley might be obvious for some, it will likely be a confusing issue for others. Thankfully, the most difficult part will be the waiting, as each crop requires some time to mature.
