Jackson police are investigating the city’s latest homicide.Officers were called Sunday, June 30, to the 3100 block of Woodbine Street, where a man had been shot. “Unfortunately, the victim was pronounced dead at a local hospital,” Detective Tommie Brown said in a Tuesday news release.The victim was identified as Zedrick Warner, Brown said.No arrests have been made. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS.
