Police Chief Joseph Wade is encouraging everyone to be mindful of their choices. “Those who are engaged in wrong doing dangerous drinking, drag racing while under the influence of alcohol we will focus on that as well we want people to have a good time enjoy themselves eat barbecue and put the guns down,” Chief Wade said. Chief Wade says safety risks are higher around this time and extra patrolling is in place for roads and highways.
