Jeff Daniels’ new Netflix show A Man in Full has hit the streaming giant’s global charts, despite its poor critical reviews. Debuting on the streaming platform on May 2 as a six-episode miniseries, the show is adapted from the Tom Woolfe novel of the same name. Alongside Daniels in the leading role, A Man in Full‘s cast list includes seasoned stars such as Diane Lane, Lucy Liu, Aml Ameen, and Jon Michael Hill. The show follows an Atlanta real estate mogul who tries to defend his legacy from those who seek to capitalize on his bankruptcy.
A Man in Full has received mixed reviews, but despite this, it has managed to make it into the Netflix Global Top 10 of most-watched TV shows. For the week of April 29 to May 5, the show ranked at #2 with 28 million hours viewed, alongside 6.3 million views. A Man in Full beat out fellow Netflix newcomer Dead Boy Detectives and various other titles, and came behind only the critically-acclaimed Baby Reindeer.
