Years ago, Kid Cudi revealed that he was making an animated Netflix series and accompanying album called Entergalactic. Recently, Cudi and Netflix shared some images from the show and announced various cast members, including Jessica Williams, Timothée Chalamet, Ty Dolla $ign, Teyana Taylor, 070 Shake, Vanessa Hudgens, Macaulay Culkin, and Jaden Smith. Now, Cudi has shared that his series premieres on Netflix on Friday, September 30. Take a look at some previews for Entergalactic below.
This past Friday, Cudi released a new single from the Netflix show called “Do What I Want.” According to a press release, the Entergalactic album is coming in the fall. Find the song below, too.
The Entergalactic show follows a young artist named Jabari (voiced by Cudi) as he navigates love and success in New York. The show is directed by Fletcher Moules; written by Ian Edelman and Maurice Williams; and executive produced by Kenya Barris, Kid Cudi, Karina Manashil, Dennis Cummings, Moules, Edelman, and Williams.
