Lucrecia Dalt has announced the new album ¡Ay!, which gets released on October 14 (via Rvng Intl.). The follow-up to 2020’s No era sólida is led by the new single “No tiempo.” The music video for the new track was conceptualized by Dalt and made by Aina Climent in Mallorca. Watch below.
“‘No tiempo’ is one of the first pieces I made for ¡Ay!,” Dalt stated in a press release. “I wanted to explore a sense of weightlessness: with a soft rhythm inspired by a bolero pattern and a voice moving through a swarm of synthesizers. This was the first track where I thought about how I could bring together these two disparate things: bolero and science fiction.”
Since sharing No era sólida, Dalt has collaborated with Aaron Dilloway on Lucy & Aaron. She has also released her scores for The Seed and The Baby.
