A man who is accused of stabbing his mother to death is set to stand trial.Devin Williams, 26, has a bench trial scheduled to begin Monday before Hinds County Circuit Court Judge Faye Peterson. There is no jury in a bench trial, so the verdict is decided by a judge.Crystal Williams, 53, was found on March 2, 2018, dead inside a home on Maple Street in Jackson. Police said Williams had been stabbed in the neck.Her son was arrested and charged with murder.
