A Florida family who lost almost everything when Hurricane Ian battered the state is grateful that one of their beloved Christmas decorations has been found.A neighbor spotted the nutcracker in the water, and he initially thought it was a dead body. “Just for about a half second I was about to call 911. My heart stopped. I thought there was a body,” said Stephen Clark, the man who found the nutcracker.He grabbed his binoculars for a closer look. Turns out, it was a nutcracker statue. Clark was able to track down the rightful owner, Ashley Nicole. Nicole said she can’t believe her neighbor found him in their neighborhood canal.
