just honored to be inducted in the songwriters Hall of Fame and when I met Pharrell Williams, he was an aspiring rapper, songwriter and producer. And we got together and made some music recorded music back in my home I think at the time was experimenting with mike, feedback *** to weights and things that were really inspiring, like sci fi aspect and we, we uh share the, the admiration for soft fire films and like star Trek and things like that fact, you should take four little skateboard pimps in the crib ma drop it, like it’s hot, drop it like it’s hot. Yeah, it’s awesome to be part of making records and being *** instrumental part in creating music, creating songs. You know, I never thought it was be considered *** songwriter. It’s always just been gratifying to see people enjoy the music when it’s played out loud and that’s, it’s um, you know, cultivating moments or opportunities for moments to share and when music is played out, it’s *** sound and if we can share that understanding with what we hear and then hopefully it will, we’ll be able to understand each other’s soul and are intense in this world. Just really thankful that were able to move people and be *** part of people’s lives and be inspiring at the same time for next generation or other musicians
