Meri recently took to her Instagram page to reminisce on what would have been her and Kody’s thirty-fourth wedding anniversary. In an emotional post, she said for a long time, she thought she was a failure if she didn’t make her marriage work. The Sister Wives star explained how her perception has changed over time while reflecting on her plural marriage.

Meri’s troubled relationship with Kody is well documented in Sister Wives, which describes how much her mindset has shifted since the dissolution of her marriage. Meri said she took all the lessons learned and is now realizing her dreams, adding that she doesn’t regret her marriage or her divorce. However, barely a month after making their romance public, Meri confirmed she was no longer dating Amos. The Sister Wives star gave “different dreams and aspirations” as the cause of their breakup. After that, tragedy struck the Brown family with the passing of Janelle’s son, Garrison Brown, and Meri posted the news on her Instagram page.

On one occasion, Meri also reflected on three years since her mom passed, which coincided with Garrison’s three weeks passing, adding that she felt a “myriad of emotions including despair and anger.” Meri has also been spending much time with her friend, Jenn Sullivan.
