Mississippi Woman’s Tax Sale Grievance Tossed by Federal Court

A Mississippi woman claiming her deceased mother’s property was auctioned at a tax sale without her knowledge is facing legal sanctions, after a federal court found a myriad of inconsistencies in her testimony.
The court also rejected her efforts to have it adjudicate what it said should have been a state-law case.
