Monday Morning Webcast

happy monday everybody, we woke up to chilly conditions across the magnolia State this morning around seven o’clock we were in the upper forties east of I 55. Even Brookhaven parts of the metro waking up to temperatures in the upper forties and low fifties this morning, thankfully we warm on up and it is going to be *** nice and comfortable afternoon, 66 by 10 heading into the eighties later on today, *** few clouds could be possible by the afternoon and early evening hours, but I’m expecting another cloud free day for the most part. Now if you’re going to the state fairgrounds tonight, do expect *** nice comfortable evening in store as well, 77 by six and we head to the sixties by eight and 10 o’clock before we drop back to the forties and fifties tomorrow morning areas west of I 55 *** smidge warmer to be expected. 55 in Vicksburg, 54 in Belzoni tomorrow morning and we’ll be back in the upper forties, low fifties and areas east of I 55 Now tomorrow afternoon we’ll warm up nice and comfortable. Once again, 84 little bit warmer in the Metro, 85 possible Bells ona, 84 longer river counties and 81 down towards Hazlehurst and Brookhaven. Now, Wednesday is going to be the warmest day but also the best chance of rain as well. Highs ranging between the mid to low eighties with moisture increasing and cloud cover increasing through the day tomorrow and Wednesday morning rain, chances will be on and off. On Wednesday, not expecting this to be *** washout, but *** few rumbles of thunder will be possible in the afternoon and overnight hours as that cold front swings on through thursday morning waking up that rain already out of the picture, skies already clearing and we’re looking at *** cool, breezy and nice into the week. Now, unfortunately we are in *** deficit when it comes to amount of rain we’ve had for the fall season so far and we desperately needed this one round. Yes, it’s going to be in rain and we’re gonna take what we can get but according to half an inch of rain is just not going to do it. We are in almost *** four inch deficit since the start of fall on september 1st now, yes, for the year we’re still at *** surplus, but you take into consideration august is one of the wettest august on record, one of the wettest summers on record. That’s why we have *** surplus for the year. But again, we need *** couple of rounds of rain for to get us back to where we need to be for average rainfall for this season. Now, in your seven day outlook, we have too cold for the first one Wednesday night into thursday that would bring the chance for some measurable rainfall friday and into the early parts of the weekend, nice, comfortable, cool mornings, nice afternoons, but our second cold front looks to arrive sometime during the day on sunday guidance is *** little iffy on if we will see rain or not. Not completely ruled out the questions just yet, but we’ll have to wait until middle to end of this week to kinda have *** better idea of if we will see rain late this weekend and if so, how much?
