A new Super Mario Bros. Movie trailer has been released, including a first look at one of the most highly-anticipated voices in the film. The animated Super Mario Bros. Movie stars Chris Pratt as the voice of Mario and features Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan Michael Key, and Seth Rogen among its star-studded cast, portraying many of the most iconic Super Mario Bros. characters. The film has been in and out of development for nearly a decade, but this upcoming iteration entered production in 2021 with Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic attached to direct a screenplay written by Matthew Fogel.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie has revealed the new trailer, and it features Seth Rogen’s Donkey Kong voice. The trailer shows Mario and Donkey Kong squaring off in the arena, with spectators shouting on. Donkey Kong makes easy work of the titular character, though, even after Cat Mario makes an appearance.
