Groups give away 16 pallets of bottled water in Jackson

People lined up in a parking lot on Raymond Road across from the back of New Horizon International Church to pick up free bottled water to help beat the high temperatures.Central Mississippi Health Services, Southern Echo and other local organizations teamed up for the giveaway of 16 pallets of cases of bottled water.This comes after multiple days of weather around or above 90 degrees in the Metro and around the state.They were hoping not only to help the community but also to educate with voting information as well as Juneteenth celebrations.Organizers said they hope to have another giveaway at the same location in July.

Central Mississippi Health Services, Southern Echo and other local organizations teamed up for the giveaway of 16 pallets of cases of bottled water.
