Tupelo police has worked with Walmart West and Dodges on West Main to evacuate the stores and disperse people. Officers have been in direct contact with the pilot.Tupelo citizens have been asked to avoid the area until the all clear is given. Officers said the danger zone is much larger than Tupelo due to the mobility of the plane. As of 8 a.m. the plane was seen just northwest of Tupelo in Blue Springs over the Toyota plant.
