Jackson police are asking for the public’s help to find the person who stabbed a man to death.Herbert McComb, 73, was found dead inside the garage at his home on Raymond Road on May 26.Police said McComb had multiple lacerations and stab wounds.A man who lives in a nearby neighborhood said the area does not normally see so much crime.Al Johnson said, “We get a lot now in this area like we’ve never gotten. I’ve been here 36 years, and we’re just now starting to get crime … There’s a lot of things we’re trying to work in this neighborhood to benefit us, and we might get some hard feelings behind it, but we’re looking out for one another.”Police are asking anyone with information in this homicide or any of the other city’s homicides to call Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS.
