Rage Against the Machine are finally back, having played the first show of their long-anticipated reunion tour last night at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in East Troy, Wisconsin. During the set, they shared multiple messages on the giant screen behind them, including the words “Abort the Supreme Court,” The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports and video of the set confirms.

“Forced birth in a country that is the only wealthy country in the world without any guaranteed paid parental leave at the national level,” the message began. “Forced birth in a country where Black birth-givers experience maternal mortality two to three times higher than that of white birth-givers. Forced birth in a country where gun violence is the number one cause of death among children and teenagers. Abort the Supreme Court.”

With their first show taking place in Wisconsin, where abortion is currently banned after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, Rage previously announced plans to donate nearly half a million dollars to reproductive rights organizations in Wisconsin and Illinois. Find out more ways to donate in “Resources to Protect Reproductive Rights After the Overturn of Roe v. Wade.”
