RV Camping at Paul B. Johnson State Park in Hattiesburg, Mississippi

Hey Folks,
Here we are sharing another campground review while we were RV camping at Paul B. Johnson State Park. This beautiful Mississippi campground is about 14 miles south of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. It is easy to find from US hwy 49. We had no problem finding a great site for our Retro 189r travel trailer. This is a large state park (campground loops are spread out) and it was a lot to cover so our video is a bit longer than usual. Because of this, we’ve included some time stamps in this description. You’ll see our usual campground review and drive through as well as a site walk around. In case you want to do a little tent camping in Mississippi we also have some video footage of the primitive area so check that out too. Paul B. Johnson offers a splash pad, many fishing and swimming areas and is a nice sized lake for small boats and canoes. Disc Golf is another activity you can enjoy at this Mississippi State Park. While we were there we walked the .8 mile nature trail and rode our bikes from one end of this long campground to the other. It rained on one of our days here so we spent the afternoon hold up in our travel trailer editing videos and planning future camping trips.

Do you have a great State Park you’d like to suggest we visit? Go ahead and put those in the comment section. We’d like to here from you:)

If you find value in this video, and our channel go ahead and hit the subscribe button. It’s free to subscribe and hit that notification bell too so you’ll know when we upload our next video:) We’d appreciate it as it helps other RVers to see our videos.

Happy Trails & Happy Camping!
