Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Flip6 soon, and the phone appeared on Geekbench, revealing the chipset and OS of the new foldable.

The listing and the CPU information revealed four clusters of units, which look like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 platform with one powerful Cortex-X4 core at 3.4 GHz. The phone will ship with Android 14 out of the box.

The phone with model number SM-F741B is said to be the variant designated for European and North American markets. It will have 12 GB RAM, a long-awaited improvement; so far, Samsung has launched the Z Flip clamshell foldables with no more than 8 GB RAM.

The Korean maker has yet to say anything about the phone, so we only have semi-reliable leaks and specs rumors. The latest report suggested the same 6.7” foldable screen on the inside and 3.4” cover screen as the Z Flip5, as well as the 50 MP main camera from the S24 family and the Z Fold5.

The Galaxy Z Flip6’s starting price is expected to reach four figures for the first time in the series’ history. We expect Samsung to launch the phone with “free” double storage, meaning the 512 GB variant could cost $1,100 for the first two weeks after the announcement.
