Where Missouri River meets Mississippi River – At the Confluence Point
This beautiful union happens at ‘Edward Ted and Pat Jones Confluence Point State Park’ in West Alton, MO.
Visiting this sacred 2-River Confluence Point on June 19, 2022 (Father’s Day). You can see how fast the Missouri River is flowing and how calm the Mississippi River is. It is a warm and calm day, I was able to send my drone up, and video the footage, plus I was able to casting the fishing rod into both the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers, fishing is permitted, but remember the fishing spot must be 300 feet (100-yard) away from the confluence point.
