Indiana State Police say the son of a former NFL player who was the subject of a Silver Alert issued on June 28 has been found safe and his parents have been taken into custody.ISP says Wednesday morning around 6 a.m., members of the department’s SWAT team executed search and arrest warrants on the residence of Daniel and Kristin Muir’s home in Logansport, Indiana.Officials say the warrants led to the discovery of Daniel, Kristin and Bryson Muir inside the home. Daniel and Kristen were taken into custody, without incident, and booked into the Cass County Jail, police say.Daniel Muir, 40, has been charged with one count of obstruction of justice and one count of domestic battery. Daniel Muir is a former Indianapolis Colts defensive lineman. He spent 4 years with the team and also briefly played for the Green Bay Packers, Oakland Raiders and New York Jets.Kristin Muir, 38, has been charged with one count of obstruction of justice.ISP says Bryson appeared safe and well when seen by law enforcement and was released to the care and custody of Cass County Department of Child Services.Officials say the investigation remains active. ISP says they received assistance from Logansport police, Cass County deputies and Indianapolis police.
