The Center for Media & Social Impact, based at American University’s School of Communications, hosts “Story Movements” – a two-day conference that examines platforms and genres of civic media storytelling through the lens of social justice and social inequality. Supported by the MacArthur Foundation, the convening was held at the Katzen Arts Center in early 2019.
