A South Carolina freshman says a teacher attacked her in the hallway because she was walking during the pledge of allegiance.

The teacher is still working, so the parents have filed a civil lawsuit against Lexington School District One and teacher Nicole Livingston.

The minor, known as M.B., was walking in the hallway of River Bluff High School on November 29, 2022, when Livingston approached and appeared to pin the 15-year-old up against the wall.

According to the M.B.’s parents, Livingston has yet to be reprimanded.
