We continue to watch the threat of severe weather Thursday night. Heavy rain and storms will pick up well after dark, between 9 p.m. and 3 a.m. The worst of the weather will arrive between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m. The biggest impacts will be damaging gusts and large hail. The tornado threat remains minimal. The main concern continues to be the strong wind gusts and torrential rain. In addition, frequent lightning and booming thunder are likely. Isolated large hail and the potential for a gusty strong storm cannot be ruled out.Any severe threat ends well before sunrise Friday morning.
