Sometimes it’s easy just to get hung up on an incorrect selection and you start seeing your attempts disappear one after the other. Luckily, our struggle can turn into your easy victory as we have all the answers and categories spoiled below.
One of the first things we recommend to new Connections players is to use that Shuffle button. Mixing up the words is the perfect way to help you see matches you may not have noticed before. MILK, YOGURT, and CULTURE messed us up during the start of our game. We insisted that some sort of dairy category was happening. Luckily, after hitting shuffle a few times we broke out of that thought when we saw EXPLOIT and USE. Realizing these were clear matches the other two fell quickly into place and we scored our first win of the day.

Green was actually the third category we scored today, but it was close. As we were in the middle of scoring blue words we noticed UP and OVER. Blue took us a while but after it was done we hit green very quickly. Then it was nothing but the leftover purple words and another tick in the win column.

We struggle quite a bit after scoring yellow today and we just couldn’t connect our thoughts to match the words correctly. DONE, COPY, and OVER kept messing us up as finishing words. So we lost a couple attempts before finally seeing the newspaper connection. We were down to our final guess when we lucked into it and scored blue, green, and finally purple one right after the other.

We absolutely did not solve this particular category. It was the leftover words and that’s fine by me. A win is a win. This was a pretty clever one though so hats off to the editor.
