GRIDDLE |

We scored yellow’s word matches in third place today. They weren’t specifically difficult we just happened to see other connections much quicker. Since there were only eight words left when we got to this one it was really quick to see the match-ups and secure victory.

Our first score for the day, green was made for our eclectic knowledge. One of the best shows of the early 2000s was Project Runway, and I was obsessed. Having no talent in that industry at all I couldn’t help but marvel over the creative people making beautiful garments every week.
Couple that with the wonderful chemistry of Heidi and Tim, and you’ve got a hit on your hands. The years of obsession have finally paid off in the fact that I know the difference between a FRINGE and a FRILL!

Blue had our leftover words for the day so it wasn’t even something we struggled with. LAY and PLACE seem like the obvious catalysts to this category and the others fit in perfectly.
You know, not to argue with George’s choices but the best season of Project Runway in my opinion was season 10. I am still in love with everything Dmitry Sholokhov does, that man is so good at his job. And some of his looks on All-Stars 4, come on!

GEEZ |
SEIZE |
TEASE |
WISE |
We scored purple in second place today and if I’m being honest it was pure luck. Once green was finished we hit shuffle a few times to mix things up and it perfectly placed GEEZ, SEIZE, and TEASE together at the top.
Rhyming is rarely a category but it still stood out enough to warrant investigating further. Eventually, we actually realized what was happening and started looking for that other “letter word.” WISE was the perfect addition, once we saw it was the purple category we knew today would be a win.
