May 27 has some brand new Connections for fans to solve and today’s game shouldn’t cause too much trouble for most fans of the game. A couple of categories could house multiple words in today’s answers, but if you’re a Connections veteran, you should get a quick and easy win for today. However, if you’re having trouble, we’ve got the hints and fully spoiled answers you may need.

One of the best ways to prepare for a daily game of Connections is to utilize the shuffle button right away. Oftentimes the game will group words together to confuse players and it’s one of the game’s best strategies against you. Mixing the words right away will stop your brain from grabbing onto the obvious, but incorrect, groupings.

Yellow Answers: Revealed & Explained

AGENCY IN DECISIONMAKING

CHOICE

SAY

VOICE

VOTE

Yellow was the first category we scored today and it happened faster than normal. Once we hit the Shuffle button a few times, like we always do at the start, CHOICE and VOTE were the first two words that popped up right away which led very quickly to the other two. SAY probably took the longest to notice, but even that was faster than a normal game for us.

DOG COMMANDS

DOWN

HEEL

SHAKE

SPEAK

Everyone loves a puppy, and if you’ve ever tried to train one, all these words are very familiar to you. HEEL and SPEAK were the first two that we noticed, followed quickly by SHAKE and DOWN. You would think that the SPEAK, SAY, and VOICE would have thrown us into losing an attempt, but we just got very luckily with that first score.

WHOLE

Blue was our leftover words for the day, and it’s a good thing too. Personally, I do not understand reading music at all. Even seeing these as the only possible choices I couldn’t figure out the category. But that’s the best part of Connections, you don’t have to get them all to win.

Purple Answers: Revealed & Explained

___ IRON

PUMP

STEAM

TIRE

WAFFLE

We scored purple in third place today. Seeing WAFFLE and TIRE made us think of the fill-in-the-blank word iron. This made it really easy to match up the other two and score our way to another Connections victory.
