Two teenagers are facing charges related to a shooting outside of a Pittsburgh church during a funeral service, leaving six people injured Friday.According to court documents, 19-year-old Shawn Davis and 16-year-old Hezekiah Nixon are charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and other charges.The shooting outside Destiny of Faith Church sent six people to a hospital. All six victims were reported to be in stable condition, police said.The shooting happened during a funeral service for John James Hornezes, Jr., one of the three killed in a shooting on Pittsburgh’s North Side on Oct. 15. Police said they believe the shooting was targeted. Police said in the court documents that surveillance video captured the gunfire. Video also showed a black car that the suspects were allegedly in.Detectives later found the vehicle near by. Davis and the other suspect allegedly entered the car, and while on a bridge, police attempted to stop the car. Police say the two suspects then got out of the car, one dropped a handgun to the ground. She was inside the church at the time shots rang out. “They better get on their knees and repent. God’s sitting high, looking low and everybody will reap what they sow. This is so devastating to the families.” Pittsburgh Mayor Ed Gainey made a passionate plea for peace in the city.”We need to make sure this never happens again,” Gainey said.The mayor called several times for a stop to the violence, imploring people not to retaliate.
