Diana Jenkins is the newest addition to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but fans are already growing tired of her “boring” onscreen persona. Diana has been presenting herself as a wealthy posh mother of three who is too rich and successful to shop at certain stores. She’s called out Sutton Stracke and included her two cents in a few quarrels. But so far, viewers aren’t too impressed with Diana’s addition to the show.
As a new full-time housewife, Diana had all the potential to become a new fan favorite in the series. Her background story of rising from poverty in Bosnia to becoming an affluent philanthropist and businesswoman has all the ingredients for a well-received housewife. But somewhere between surviving poverty and becoming rich and successful, Diana forgot about the simplicities of everyday life. Fans blasted her after she admitted to not shopping at fashion outlets and only wearing clothes that are personally sent to her home. Diana’s subtle feud with Sutton has also rubbed fans the wrong way with many accusing her of trying to create an issue that isn’t there for screen time.
Diana was recently called out after attempting to turn one of her onscreen quips at Diana into a moment on Twitter. “Bacon eating vegetarian,” she tweeted in response to Sutton’s comical reveal during their filmed lunch meeting. Reddit user u/Accomplished_Bit_561 shared a screenshot of the tweet telling Diana to “get over it🙄ya boring.” Others joined the thread to call out Diana for dragging her criticism of Sutton’s dieting comment. “If I hear her bring that up one more time I’m going to lose it!” one fan quipped, while noting Sutton never claimed to be a vegetarian, she only said she hadn’t eaten meat in a long time except for bacon. Another fan accused the ladies of coming for Sutton in Season 12. She has so far been at odds with almost every member of the cast this season but continues to stand her ground.
From the looks of Diana’s contributions during the group settings, one viewer believes she that “all she does is sit places, and tell people what they are doing wrong.” When Diana first called out Sutton, it was during Sutton’s verbal exchange with Kyle Richards. Many viewers felt like Diana only jumped in to join in on the Sutton bashing and has continued to badger the more veteran housewife. “Everyone on this damn show is dreadfully dull but Diana brings home the bacon on boring,” added someone else. The viewers were seemingly on the same page when it comes to their dislike for Diana.
As the newest addition to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Diana is likely hoping to return for another season. But if she isn’t being received well by the viewers, her fate could be up in the air. Feuding with Sutton appears to be Diana’s way of gaining more attention from fans. But it’s clear that viewers are Team Sutton when it comes to the bacon-eating vegetarian debate. Diana might want to find a new target.
