Summary

  • Big Brother is considering hosting an all-winners season, fulfilling a longtime viewer suggestion and potentially shaking up the traditional format due to ongoing Hollywood strikes.
  • Viewers are excited about the possibility, as they have been requesting an all-winners competition for years. This would allow houseguests to change their gameplay in a shorter, modified version of the competition.
  • Several iconic winners, such as Ian Terry, Rachel Reilly, Dr. Will Kirby, and others, would be compelling additions to an all-winners season, with their unique strategies and gameplay making for an exciting show.

Big Brother 25 is an ongoing season, but the series is already looking ahead to its winter installment, which may be an all-winners season of returning houseguests competing for the prize. The series has been one of the most long-running reality TV competition shows, airing seasonally since 2001 and adding Celebrity Big Brother to its lineup in 2018. While the summer seasons of Big Brother typically differ from the winter seasons, things are getting shaken up due to the ongoing Hollywood strikes. With celebrities unlikely to join the series, it’s possible the show will turn to a longtime viewer suggestion and host an all-winners season of the competition.

Big Brother may be hosting an all-winners season, inviting back between 10 and 12 of the most iconic winners of the series of all-time. Though the idea is currently a rumor, viewers have been asking CBS for an all-winners competition for years now, and the idea has many excited to see if it could become a reality. The winter seasons of Big Brother are far shorter than the summer installments, meaning the winners of past seasons would compete in a modified version of the competition, allowing them to change up their gameplay. Who should get another chance to play?

12 Big Brother 14 Winner Ian Terry

A polarizing winner, Ian Terry took home the grand prize on Big Brother 14 sitting next to BB legend Dan Gheesling. Throughout a season of ups and downs, Ian proved to be one of the most intelligent competitors in a house with some of the most competitive BB players of all time. He was taken under Dan’s wing early in the game, aligning with him as well as the rest of the members of the Quack Pack alliance. Ian returned to Big Brother for its second All-Stars edition, BB 22 where he took 11th place. Ian playing a shorter game with fierce competitors would be an exciting choice.

11 Big Brother 13 Winner Rachel Reilly

After competing on Big Brother 12 and meeting her future husband, Brendon Villegas, Rachel Reilly took the grand prize on Big Brother 13 after competing with Brendon and fellow BB legend duos Jeff Schroeder & Jordan Lloyd and Dick Donato & Daniele Donato. Famous for her competition record and lack of filter, Rachel’s always wanted to play Big Brother again and is an avid viewer of the series. Known for her brash social game and ability to bail herself out when she’s in trouble, Rachel would be a huge threat on a winners season.

10 Big Brother 2 Winner Dr. Will Kirby

As the first winner of a genuine season of Big Brother, BB 2’s winner Dr. Will Kirby would be a huge asset to an all-winners cast. Will competed on Big Brother 2, then appeared on the first all-stars season, Big Brother 6. Though he was cut at fourth place on BB 6, his tactics in the game formed some of the most impressive BB moments of all time. Will was the pioneer of playing weak and brutally honest, causing his fellow houseguests to dislike him but, somehow, refuse to put him up for nomination.

9 Big Brother 4 Winner Jun Song

Jun Song has been a figure in BB history since her win on Big Brother 4, where she competed alongside her ex-boyfriend Jee Choe for weeks before his eviction. The twist of the season brought together several pairs of exes who were unexpectedly playing the game together, creating an us versus them sense of separation in the house. While she publicly pretended she would never work with her ex, Jun and Jee formed an alliance for his time in the house. Jun also aligned with Alison Irwin, and the two formed a final 2 alliance, carrying them both the end of the game.

8 Big Brother 17 Winner Steve Moses

Steve Moses Big Brother 17 Winner

Big Brother 17 winner Steve Moses wasn’t a conventional winner, especially to casual fans of the series who spent the majority of the game feeling as though he wasn’t a presence in the BB house. His strategy in the game was to blend into the crowd, which he did exceptionally well, and once he was brought into the Scamper Squad alliance, full of big personalities, he was able to do so even more. Though Steve has expressed disdain for some of the seasons of Big Brother that followed his own, seeing how he would change up his game strategy in a season of winners would be a fascinating addition.

7 Big Brother 24 Winner Taylor Hale

As the most recent winner of Big Brother, Taylor Hale has been involved in the game throughout the current season, interviewing evicted houseguests and following along as it’s aired. Taylor played on a season where she was a competitive threat and dealt with a huge amount of discrimination, getting bullied by several of her fellow houseguests for weeks. Taylor’s BB journey was rough, but she ultimately came out as one of the most decorated victors of modern Big Brother history and has been inspirational to the new wave of BB viewers she’s brought to the show.

6 Big Brother 11 Winner Jordan Lloyd

Although she didn’t take the grand prize during her second turn on Big Brother 13, Jordan was the winner of her first season, BB 11. The twist of the season put contestants into four groups for the first several weeks of the competition and Jordan lost most of her allies, but was able to align with her future husband Jeff, who she met during the season. Though she was portrayed as though she was carried through the game by competitive threat Jeff, Jordan had an incredible social game that kept her off that majority of the target lists for her fellow houseguests. Seeing her compete now, after nearly 10 years, would be thrilling.

5 Big Brother 15 Winner Andy Herren

Big Brother 15 is largely known as one of the worst seasons of the series, not due to the gameplay, but because of the rampant discrimination that ran throughout the house. Andy Herren, who was crowned the winner of BB 15 next to his runner-up GinaMarie Zimmerman, wasn’t a popular winner but he did deserve the title. Andy used his social game wisely, avoiding being targeted while manipulating others into doing the majority of his dirty work. Unafraid to backstab and manipulate people as needed, Andy would be interesting in a season of Big Brother where the players all have more awareness of what’s going on.

4 Big Brother 18 Winner Nicole Franzel

BB 18 winner Nicole Franzel has played the game 3 times, appearing on Big Brother 16, 18, and 22. Her run on BB 16 brought her to the final 7, and her time on BB 22 landed her in the final 3, but her best efforts were during BB 18. After getting close to a win in her previous season, Nicole came into Big Brother 18 looking for a win. Nicole’s subtle manipulation tactics and trust in her alliances kept her safe throughout Big Brother 18, and seeing her play the game again would be exciting for viewers of any season she’s appeared on.

3 Big Brother 20 Winner Kaycee Clark

As one of the greatest physical competitors in the history of Big Brother, Kaycee Clark has been ready to come back to BB for years. During her time on Big Brother 20, she stayed true to her alliance and had a final 2 deal with Tyler Crispen. The pair were able to battle it out physically, and Kaycee won by just one jury vote over Tyler due to her impressive 7 competition wins throughout the season. Though she was meant to appear on BB 22, she had to drop out due to an issue with COVID-19 testing, and many were sad not to see her in the house again.

2 Big Brother 23 Winner Xavier Prather

As one of the members of the Cookout alliance, Xavier Prather played a quiet game during the first half of Big Brother 23, but turned up the heat throughout the second half. Establishing himself as a competitor, Xavier won 3 Head Of Household titles and 3 Power Of Veto competitions, surviving the nomination block 5 times throughout the season. Held up by his strong alliance, Xavier played a loyal game. It would be interesting to see this modern winner compete in a house full of incredibly strong competitors after a very recent win.

1 Big Brother 10 Winner Dan Gheesling

Typically lauded as the best Big Brother player of all time, Dan is a winner that would be thrilling to see in the game again. Known for his master manipulation tactics, Dan is a competitive threat who has played a phenomenal social game in both Big Brother 10 and Big Brother 14. He took the win in his first season, using his social game to his advantage and working hard to keep himself safe throughout the season. Dan made it to the final 2 on BB 14, but lost to Ian. It would be thrilling to see an all-time great play Big Brother again in a new capacity.
