There are only a few names in history where you can just say their first name and you know exactly who I’m talking about. Elvis is one of those names. With a string of musician biopics released in the last few years, Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocket-man to name a few, it was only a matter of time until they did a movie on Elvis Presley and I’m shocked it took this long. The highest selling solo artist in history has quite the story. Baz Luhrmann took the director’s chair for this project and really created a compelling story about the king of cool, Elvis. From sneaking into gospel churches, to escaping groupies to addiction, the king of cool had a rollercoaster ride and this movie covers it all.
