A powerful tornado ripped through Rolling Fork Friday night.People were out surveying the damage Saturday.Laura McKnight said she lost three people she grew up with during the storm.She said her son rode out the storm in a bathtub.”That’s what saved him by being in the bathtub. He says he remembered the roof is falling out on him but he didn’t get a scratch,” McKnight said.Emergency officials in Sharkey County said 13 people were killed there. The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency said at least 25 people in the state were killed.Dontavis Brown was one of many in Rolling Fork whose home was damaged.”I mean we heard it it was right on top of us … I just knew our house was gone. I just hit the ground. I just laid on top of everybody else in the house that was with me. I was just thinking about their safety,” Brown said.One man was at his neighbor’s house when a massive tree fell through the bedroom of his home, and another family took shelter as the strong winds ripped off part of their roof.
